Holiday light show shines in four DNR destinations – The Waynedale News

In December, four DNR destinations will host live holiday light shows.

Bluffton’s Wabash State Park will host the 8th Annual Light Wonderland at its campground and throughout the park from December 3 to 31, from 6 to 9 pm. The presentation included more than 40 light displays as well as simultaneous music and light shows on the fire tower of the Civilian Protection Brigade. The cost is USD 5 per vehicle.

Anderson’s Mounds State Park will host the first Night of Lights celebration from December 3 to January. 1 Only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 5:30 pm to 10 pm The show has more than 30 light displays in the campsite. Cash payment is US$5 per car and credit card payment is US$6.

Lieber State Recreation Area will display its first Light Wonderland Show from December 3rd to 5th and December 10th to 12th from 6 to 9 pm. The gatehouse, 10 campsites and park buildings will be decorated. The gatehouse of the campsite will accept donations.

Springmere State Park will host a Christmas event at the campground from December 3rd to 4th, the same weekend as the country holiday event. The campsite is open for Christmas from 6pm to 9:45pm. Visitors can drive through the campsite for $5 and vote in the best decorated locations. The winner will receive two free camping nights in 2022. The campsite for this event is full.
