Disney Genie is a new digital service that is part of the My Disney Experience application at no additional cost. The service is designed to plan your day in the Walt Disney World theme park, including planning a whole day of personalized itinerary according to your preferences. The Disney Genie will display the current and predicted future waiting time.

Disney Genie+ is an option in the Disney Genie service that provides the former FastPass line at specific attractions (now called Lightning Lane). At Walt Disney World, the introductory pricing is $15 per ticket per day. Some major attractions are not part of Genie+, and the Lightning Lane passage of these attractions requires separate purchase of attractions.

Attractions not included in Genie+, such as Star Wars: The Rise of Resistance and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, will require separate purchase of attractions to enter Lightning Alley. Prices will vary depending on dates, attractions and parks. For example, the entrance to Lightning Alley in Remy's Ratatouille Adventure is $9 per person on October 19th and $11 per person on October 23rd. For another example, on these two dates, the entrance to the legendary Lightning Alley of Mount Everest-the Forbidden Mountain will cost $7 per person, while "Star Wars: The Rise of Resistance" will cost $15 per person. Throughout the year, prices may be lower on some days and higher on other days. This option can be purchased at up to 2 different attractions every day.

All attractions will still have backup queues or virtual queues.

Disney Genie+ is launched on October 19, 2021.

Disney Fairies is a planning service for creating itineraries, which is free for all visitors. Genie+ is a paid option that provides lighting access to certain attractions.

Lighting Lane is the new name of the FastPass queue, which can be accessed through Genie+ at participating attractions, or purchased through personal attractions at a limited number of high-demand attractions.

All guests who visit Walt Disney World can enjoy basic Disney Fairy services for free.

The Disney Wizard can be accessed through My Disney Experience, an existing Walt Disney World app for iOS and Android.

You can purchase Genie+ as an add-on for $15 before the visit or on the day of the visit.
