Waukesha, Wisconsin, October 18, 2021 /PRNewswire/ - Generac Mobile, a leading manufacturer of mobile light towers, generators, heaters, pumps, and dust removal solutions, today announced the launch of a new MLTB, an innovative The battery light tower is the first of its kind offered by Generac. MLTB is the industry's first high-strength, DOT-certified beacon powered by Generac's green lithium battery technology. MLTB provides low noise, no emissions and zero cable operation. The lighting solution is designed for a variety of applications, including indoor construction sites and entertainment venues.

Since there is no engine, less maintenance is required, and the total cost of ownership is reduced by 60% compared to our diesel light tower. MLTB can be used alone or connected with other Generac plug-in towers to increase the flexibility and versatility of lighting activities and construction sites.
MLTB is equipped with a 22 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which can provide up to 75 hours of running time without the need for recharging. When needed, the battery can be easily charged through a standard 120V or 240V socket.
The new device is equipped with four 240W high-performance Generac G4 LED lamps to provide maximum light. Generac's instant LED lights enable faster startup without waiting for warm-up, cooling, or restart. Generac Mobile LED allows easy automation through various settings (including dusk to dawn and dusk plus 2-8 hours), saving time and improving safety. Generac LEDs provide bright, consistent lighting and are durable, with an average life expectancy of 10 years. Unlike metal halide bulbs, LEDs will also degrade minimally over time, and metal halide bulbs will lose 50% of their light output in the first 10,000 hours. The innovative and durable design of the tower can withstand the rigorous test of rented venues and construction sites, thereby increasing its versatility.

The device comes standard with the existing MLT polymer housing, which has impact resistance and durability. The compact design allows up to 19 towers to be transported on a 53-foot flatbed truck.
