Gimenez is a fascinating player, and his 2022 season has been elite. He has some impressive reverse splits with a wRC+ of 158 against lefties on the season. While he does have light tower power, the number is over 0.5, which means that all we need is one hit.

I really don’t like how high these odds are, but this is a fantastic bet on paper. The Guardians have one of the worst offenses in the league against lefties, and with the potential of four straight games, the Yankees will want Cortes to go deep into this one if he can.

Snell can definitely find himself getting into bouts of wildness. The Dodgers as a whole have one of the highest walk rates, but against lefties, their 9% is only top five. They are smart enough to know that they should be patient with Snell and will take advantage of his struggles.
